I was joined in the first group by Paul Green and Paddy. Both played some good golf and if Paddy could have holed out like he normally does, he would have come in with 40 points.
The final of the doubles was played and after an evenly matched contest Patrick and Chris eventually ran out winners by 3 & 1 over Glyn and Paul Cummings. It was the first playing of the new trophy donated by Glyn to replace the Kevin Tomalin and this was won by Chris with 34 points from Dennis on 31pts.
In the Greenwood Motors, Dave Williams retained the trophy after Bob had to retire after 7 holes due to an aching back.
Nearest the pin on the 9th was Glyn and on the 16th was Dennis. There were no twos.
Stableford Positions:
There was a four way tie at the top with the Captain coming first from Chris on count back with 34 points.
