Hello gents,
Well we have reached the end of the season and what a year we have had, again being blessed with the weather. Thanks be to the golf gods!
The last fixture saw us play the always excellent Kirtlington GC, with a good turn out some being slightly fuller after some impressive breakfasts we headed to the first with high expectations with a number of competitions being played on the day everyone wanted that last flourish of a good round. This being evident in the scoring with good scores coming in, congratulations go to Dennis England for his win in the singles. All this excitement going on at the same time as the closing stages of the Ryder cup being played out on the TV in the clubhouse.
Let’s hope next year brings us the same enjoyment!
Thanks everyone again for a great season and your great company, and I am sure many of you will agree when I say thank you to this year’s captain Rob and the committee for all the hard work that they have put in throughout the season.
See you all at presentation night
Stand and deliver!
Richard
