13 attended Stratford on another glorious day, the course was in excellent condition showing the benefits of an effective watering system.
Numerous fines were handed out on the day, most notably for non-wearing of uniform, and Found It was fined for hitting No P with a cracking provisional drive onto a Par 4 green, similar to the 16th at Farthingstone, you step on the tee box dreaming of such a feat only to, in my case, push it right into the trees, ah well maybe next time…
What else happened? Oh I won! Not sure quite how I did it, it’s certainly been a long time since the primary school egg and spoon when I last triumphed in the sporting arena, I actually played with some consistency for a change and thank you to Found It (who was runner up) for finding my errant drives!
I thought the course was excellent, bacon bap tasty, company excellent and I really enjoyed the day. Next up is Bicester, hopefully the sun shines and the fairways are green….
Regards
Peter

In the Greenwood Tony and Richard are tied on 135 at the top with 4 games to go from Dennis on 126 but as you will see from the table Richard leads on 125 from Dennis on 116 and 109 after everyone's 3 worst scores have been deducted. Still plenty of time to catch the bandit!!
