Bacon sandwiches were devoured before the off and many were seen on the range fine tuning their game. I was joined by Steve and Simon and was treated to an exhibition of long hitting by Simon. Not always straight but he hits the ball a long, long way.
The course was in good condition and some of the holes quite challenging. A few of the holes were a little hilly but Dave commented that it was a mountain goat course! The weather stayed fine for us and I think all enjoyed the day.
Neither of the prizes for nearest the pin were won but Bob won the longest drive by 6 inches from Dennis on the 18th and there were no twos.
